This is an old one during the time when Anime was called OAV before they changed it to OVA. This is a super rare one..and were glad to be the one to bring it to you! Here a little background to the story and characters….Shura ga yuku ” is a manga work written by Yu Kawabe and drawn by Masato Yamaguchi published in ” Manga Goraku ” (Nihon Bungeisha) .Based in Kansai, the wide-area gangster “Kowakai” boasts the greatest power in western Japan. The Kishida-gumi, led by Iwao Kishida, one of its top executives, had two very promising members. One has a unique career of graduating from a national university, and is an intellectual who has modernized the group in a way that has not been seen in the yakuza until now. It was Ryuichi Hongo, assistant wakagashira who carved out his own path with determination. Although the two had different ways of thinking like water and oil, they had a brother-in-law relationship that recognized each other’s strengths. Meanwhile, one day Kishida fell ill and fell into a situation where he did not have much time left to live. Naturally, the issue of successors to the Kishida-gumi attracted attention, and Ino, a young head of the Kishida-gumi who had a reputation for his intellectual strategy, was regarded as the most likely successor to the Kishida-gumi. However, Kishida himself nominates Hongo as his successor and informs Ino. Ino, who was furious about this, killed Kishida, who was lying on the bed of illness, in order to become the leader of the Kishida-gumi himself, and put the blame on Hongo. As a result, the Hongo-gumi was destroyed, Hongo was excommunicated from the Kowakai, and Kowakai began to target his life. Thus began the long days of fierce battles in Hongo.
